Longines, which has always associated its name with the world of sport, puts its expertise to use in scuba diving. It all began in 1937, a time when water resistance became a quality criterion. Longines thus developed a case with waterproof pushers for its legendary 13ZN calibre and immediately filed a patent for its creation. Subsequently, the winged hourglass brand embarked on numerous developments that led it to create its first civilian diving watch in 1958, followed by several other similar models in the 1960s.
