Our story

The history of Cornali begins in 1956, with the opening of a small shop of watches, clocks and alarm clocks in Dalmine, in the province of Bergamo. Matteo Cornali and his wife Clelia manage a business based on the deep relationship of trust created with suppliers and customers, gradually expanding their offer and then also including jewelry.

The turning point since 1984: these are the years in which POP culture explodes and the world of luxury meets that of street fashion, creating new languages and new desires. Cornali lands in Bergamo, opening two stores in the heart of the city center; the 80s and 90s will be animated by the opening of new points of sale and single-brand stores.

In 2004, at the age of 18, the eldest son of Antonella and Silvio, Federico, joined the family business. Passionate about horses and watches, after high school he specialized in Gemology; Federico and his family have been managing the shop in via XX Settembre for over 15 years.

The third Cornali generation continues with Vittorio, who enters the family business at 26, after a challenging experience as a commercial outside the family.

2021 ends as a year of rebirth and restart for the historic Dalmine store, the place where it all began. Completely redesigned and with a renewed design, the shop becomes a point of reference for those who want to rely on the Cornali experience, for those who love tradition and for those looking for an updated look at the news.

In 2024, the drive for renewal continues, which materializes in the merger of the 2 stores in Via XX Settembre into a new boutique, still located in the heart of the most central street in Bergamo. Located inside a historic building, this new reality represents an evolution of the brand, keeping alive the tradition of quality and refinement that has always distinguished the brand. A special place to share the passion for the best brands and for fine jewelry, to create unforgettable moments. Always with the great enthusiasm that characterizes Cornali's presence in the world of jewelry and watches: this new store strengthens the commitment to offering wisdom, elegance and unique pieces to its customers.

Antonella and Silvio have been at the helm of the group for almost forty years and the values that inspire them every day remain the same: love for their work, a taste for beauty and attention to relationships.
