This 18k yellow gold medallion is inspired by the Fort Knox gold deposit safe, a central part of the film's plot. It has the shape of an egg, which opens to reveal a responsibly mined Mozambican Gemfields heart-shaped ruby enclosed within it. The ruby heart embedded inside drops gold and represents Goldfinger's passion for gold and is a reference to the lyrics of the title song, \u201cHe only loves gold." The bail of the pendant is inspired by the shape of the "G", for Goldfinger, and in the same character, as the signet ring that the character wears in the film.
